Featuring: JA Be Entrepreneurial (Think Like an Entrepreneur)

JA Be Entrepreneurial is a reimagined, modular program that teaches students about the mindset and the skills needed for success by aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators who add value to any organization. In JA Think Like an Entrepreneur, students develop a mindset that enables opportunity identification, innovation, value creation, and problem solving. (Grades 9-12)

Featuring: JA Be Entrepreneurial (Creative Problem Solving)

JA Be Entrepreneurial is a reimagined, modular program that teaches students about the mindset and the skills needed for success by aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators who add value to any organization. In JA Creative Problem Solving, students learn and apply design thinking, an innovative process for problem solving used by entrepreneurs (and intrapreneurs) to brainstorm customer-centric ideas. (Grades 9-12)

Featuring: JA Be Entrepreneurial (Rapid Business Planning)

JA Be Entrepreneurial is a reimagined, modular program that teaches students about the mindset and the skills needed for success by aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators who add value to any organization. In JA Rapid Business Planning, students learn about the Lean Model Canvas, the strategic management template for developing business models. (Grades 9-12)

This hybrid summer experience is for current and prospective Business, Management, and Finance cluster program students entering grades 8 ,9 and 10.

Time: 10:00 AM EST
 
The JA Entrepreneurship Summer Experience will be held from 10am-2pm daily. Attendees may attend as a sequence or individual weeks. This FREE program will be delivered in a hybrid format with students meeting in-person the first and last day of camp each week at Junior Achievement’s Regional Workforce and Innovation Center located at 1725 Twin Springs Road, Baltimore MD 21227. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday activities will be held online using a virtual platform (i.e. ZOOM).

Parents can enroll their students for 1, 2 or all 3 weeks of the JA Entrepreneurship Summer Experience by filling out the information below. You do not need to fill out a separate form for each week.

Week 1- July 12-July 16: JA Be Entrepreneurial- Creative Problem Solving- REGISTRATION CLOSED

Week 2-July 19-July 23: JA Be Entrepreneurial- Think Like an Entrepreneur- REGISTRATION CLOSED

Week 3- July 26-July 30: JA Be Entrepreneurial- Rapid Business Planning

Students learn about lean business planning foundations using the Lean Canvas, a streamlined, one-page business plan template. Rapid business planning is emphasized to test and refine the approach in continuous improvement cycles.


**Parents must complete a separate registration form for each child interested in participating.

**After registering, a JA staff member will contact you with additional details and provide the link to participate.
