JA Virtual Summer Camp Week 2 - Middle
Featuring: JA Finance Park (Virtual)
JA Finance Park Virtual includes a virtual culminating experience for students who have completed the educator-led curriculum. Students put into practice what they've learned by developing and committing to a personal budget. The JA Finance Park Virtual simulation has been fully redeveloped, with a brand-new experience that offers two implementation options: entry level for middle school students and advanced for high school students. (Grades 7-12)
Featuring: JA Finance Park (Entry Level)
JA Finance Park is Junior Achievement’s capstone program for personal financial planning and career exploration. At the culmination of this teacher-led program, students visit JA Finance Park, a realistic on-site or virtual community, to put into practice what they've learned by developing and committing to a personal budget. (Grades 7-9)
This virtual camp experience is for campers entering grades 7 - 9 in the 2020-2021 school year.

Campers will be participating in JA Finance Park Virtual, a program where each camper receives a life scenario, including a job, salary, and family situation. Using "real-life avatars"" campers will learn how to construct and adhere to a personal budget, including housing, food, savings, transportation, entertainment, healthcare, utilities, clothing, and education. Campers engage in a variety of financial education topics such as personal finance, budgeting, money management, saving, spending, and financial institutions.
