JA Rising Women Student Applications

About JA Rising Women
JA Rising Women is an exclusive opportunity for high school girls to conceptualize, capitalize, and run their own company mentored by local business volunteers. Collaborating as a team, students learn and practice business fundamentals— including innovation, capitalization, marketing, supply chain management, and sales— as they lead and operate their very own venture.
JA RISING WOMEN CURRICULUM
Through the duration of the business, students develop a business idea, sell stock to raise capital, elect officers, buy materials, market their product or service, pay a dividend to stockholders and liquidate their company. Working as a team, they learn to understand and appreciate the responsibilities involved in running a business.
Applications for this 18 week after-school program are now open for Howard County female students. Baltimore City female student applications will be available soon! All applications must be received by September 30, 2021.
