Gear Up for JA BizTown! Teacher Training and Material Request Information Available Now

 

As teachers prepare for the 2019-2020 school year, it's also time to gear up for students' JA BizTown visit. 

For classroom teachers who will be teaching the JA BizTown curriculum and bringing their classes to the JA BizTown simulation during the upcoming school year, we've made this handy guide for everything educators need to know.

If you are a NEW TEACHER to JA BizTown you must...

  1. Watch the JA BizTown Teacher Training Webinar below OR attend in-person JA BizTown training through your school/district. 
  2. Complete JA BizTown Program Material Request Form below.
  3. Once you have completed steps 1 and 2 above, confirm your school's participation and simulation visit date by contacting JA BizTown Program Manager Bristal McAlister here

If you have PREVIOUSLY TRAINED to implement JA BizTown you must...

  1. Complete JA BizTown Program Material Request Form below.
  2. Once you have completed step 1, confirm your school's participation and simulation visit date by contacting JA BizTown Program Manager Bristal McAlister here

JA BizTown Program Materials Request Form

In order to participate in JA BizTown, you will need specific classroom materials and curriculum to be successful for your visit day. 

Materials for JA BizTown include:

  • JA BizTown Teacher Curriculum
  • JA BizTown Student Citizen Guides and checkbooks (one per student)
  • JA BizTown Classroom Kit (one for school)
