JA of Central Maryland Events

At JA of Central Maryland, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

Happening Now!

Where: Virtual

Using an interactive online platform, JA Inspire Virtual will connect thousands of teens to companies and industries across Maryland, introducing the next generation to greater economic opportunity and companies to potential future employees.

Event Launch Date:
• Baltimore County Public Schools: November 14, 2023
• Baltimore City Public Schools: December 18 and 19, 2023
• Howard County Public Schools: January 2024

In addition, JA Inspire Virtual will be accessible for all students through July 2024.

JA Company Program Regional Competition 2024

When: Tuesday, March 05, 2024
Where: Junior Achievement Youth Workforce & Innovation Center
Time: 12:00 AM ET

JA entrepreneurs from the Greater Baltimore area will go head-to-head as part of a dynamic competition for JA Company of the Year. Student-run companies from the 2023-2024 school year will showcase their businesses to a panel of judges and deliver their financials, marketing pitch, and more to a panel of professionals in the field.

Show off your workplace skills and win the fold for Central Maryland youth! Through a series of wacky and competitive games, you'll build camraderie amongst your team and help prepare the next generation for success in their future careers!

JA 18 Under 18 2024

Where: JA Youth Workforce and Innovation Center
Time: 7:00 PM ET

We are excited to bring back JA 18 Under 18 for a second year in a row! These honorees all have something in common: they're not waiting for adulthood to make a difference in the world. Whether it's a passion for helping others, a creative idea, or the recognition that they are unlike those around them; the JA 18 Under 18 use their ingenuity, generosity, and entrepreneurial spirit to make a difference in the Central Maryland area and beyond.

JA Leading Ladies 2023

JA Leading Ladies connects businesswomen and outstanding female high school students in the Baltimore area to celebrate successes, develop talents, capture new opportunities and inspire the next generation of women leaders. You'll experience inspiring presentations and participate in meaningful mentor activities that will help the young women participants gain insight into the possibilities available to them, in a supportive environment where their voices are heard.

Students involved in the JA Company Program will gather at the JA Facility this spring to showcase their companies and discuss their experiences as they compete for JA Company of the Year!
